HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL?

Hotel Punta Faro is located on Múcura Island in the San Bernardo Archipelago, approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes by speedboat from the city of Cartagena. The maritime transportation service is exclusive for hotel guests. Our fleet consists of four speedboats. We recommend all our guests take our transportation service to ensure a safe and punctual journey to the island.

IS A DAY PASS SERVICE OFFERED?

Our hotel only offers accommodation for a minimum of two nights. For privacy and quality experience policies with our staying guests, we do not offer day pass services.

IS THERE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AT THE HOTEL?

The hotel has a fully stocked first aid kit and a nursing assistant.

WARNING: There is no doctor at the hotel or on the island. If you have a high-risk medical condition or require easily accessible medical assistance, we recommend consulting your doctor before planning your trip to the island.

DO YOU ACCEPT DEBIT AND CREDIT CARDS?

Yes, we accept all debit and credit cards.

CAN I PAY IN US DOLLARS OR EUROS?

Yes, the hotel accepts US dollars and euros at the official exchange rate of the day.

Although most of our staff are native islanders and do not speak English, we have bilingual concierges who facilitate communication and service within the hotel.

Our hotel’s cuisine includes a variety of seafood (fish and shellfish) prepared with national and Caribbean recipes. Our meal service is an assisted buffet style.

WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO SEAFOOD?

Our daily menu offers a variety of protein options to meet different dietary preferences.

DO YOU HAVE MENU OPTIONS FOR VEGETARIANS OR CELIAC DIETS?

Yes, when booking, please indicate your dietary requirements, whether vegetarian or food intolerances. This way, we can offer alternative options to accommodate your needs.

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE THE BUFFET?

In addition to our buffet service, the hotel offers a fast food and à la carte menu to expand your dining options.

DOES OUR PLAN INCLUDE AN OPEN BAR?

Our package does not include alcoholic beverages. This is an additional service that must be paid for directly at the hotel.

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi connection in the hotel’s common areas.

We have a tropical climate with very stable temperatures throughout the year. The average temperature is 30°C (86°F).

HOW MUCH LUGGAGE CAN I BRING ON THE BOAT?

Each passenger is allowed to bring one suitcase not exceeding 23 kg (50 lbs).

WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN BE DONE AT THE HOTEL?

Punta Faro is the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the world. However, we recommend our additional services, such as water sports (diving, kayaking, catamaran, etc.), bicycle rentals, a tennis court, and massages.

WHAT TO WEAR? WHAT TO BRING?

Light clothing suitable for a tropical climate. There are no formal dress codes or restrictions in any of our areas. The hotel has a boutique stocked with personal care items, snacks, repellents, swimwear, etc.

ARE THERE MOSQUITOES? DO I NEED REPELLENT?

Mosquitoes are only present during the humid months (May, June, September, and October). We recommend using repellent in the morning and late afternoon.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE HOTEL?

Yes, the hotel welcomes children of all ages. We recommend visits for children aged 1 and older.

ARE THERE SWIMMING POOLS IN THE HOTEL?

As we are located within a marine area, we avoid water treatment systems that require chemicals, which could affect marine ecosystems. Therefore, we do not have swimming pools. However, you can enjoy an exclusive, beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters and white sand just steps from your room.

ARE THERE NIGHT SHOWS OR DISCOS?

No, our concept promotes a philosophy of relaxation and tranquility for all our visitors. Therefore, we do not encourage activities that interrupt the harmony and silence of the environment.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

We are a Pet-Friendly Hotel. However, before traveling with your pet, you must read our pet policies and complete the reservation registration form, which must be sent to our reservations center.
