To guarantee the safety of all guests and their pets, the Hotel Punta Faro has the following terms and conditions to allow their entry.


 

PREVIOUS RESERVATION


 

Only small breed dogs are allowed that do not exceed 15 kg in weight and their maximum height from the ground to the back does not exceed 30 cm.

 

Guests who wish to travel with their pets must request a reservation according to the hotel's maximum authorized pet capacity. Upon arrival, all guests must fill out and present the Hotel Punta Faro´s pet registration, terms and conditions form.

For those guests who made their reservations through our website www.puntafaro.com or any online agency (booking.com, expedia, etc.), they must contact our reservation center to request the reservation and registration of the pet.

The current rate for lodging with your pet will be according to the prices established by the Hotel Punta Faro at the time of booking and will be charged to your account at the time of check in.

 

Important notice: Pets will not be allowed into the hotel without prior reservation duly registered.

 

 

UPON ARRIVAL


 

Upon arrival at the pier, you must present the following documents for verification:

 

  • The current vaccination certificate, which includes the last rabies vaccination, must specify the name of the product, batch number, date of administration, validity of the vaccination and the signature of the veterinarian.

 

  • Pet registration and liability waiver form

 

IMPORTANT WARNING:Given their high level of danger, the entry of canine specimens belonging to one of the following breeds or their crosses or hybrids is prohibited: American Staffordshire Terrier, Bullmastiff, Doberman, Dogo Argentino, Dogo de Bordeaux, Fila Brasileiro, Mastín Neapolitan , Bull Terrier, Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, Japanese Tosa and those new races or mixtures of races that the national Government determines.

 

If you travel with a guide canine, then you must present a certification issued by national or international centers that belong to or are approved by the Colombian Association of Zootherapy and related activities or by the entity that the Colombian Agricultural Institute, ICA authorizes. The card that issues the aforementioned associations must contain;

 

  • The photo of the specimen.

  • The name and the race to which it belongs.

  • Name and identification of the user or owner of the animal.

  • Date of issue and expiration.

  • Training center. (See Article 2.2.7.8.1. Decree 1079 of 2015)

 

During the boat trip, your pet must travel in your arms and it will not be allowed to be loose without its collar.

 

 

CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS DURING THE STAY


 

We know how important they are to us and for that reason we welcome them. However, we must take into account the following conditions and restrictions to guarantee a pleasant experience for everyone during their stay in Punta Faro.


 

  • Make sure your pet is friendly with other people, especially children, and does not have behavior problems.

 

  • Keep your pet on a leash at all times.

 

  • Do not allow your pet to walk freely, approach or invade the space of other guests. Remember that not everyone likes them.

 

  • Do not allow your pet to use the towels, sheets, blankets and beds in the room. For this purpose the HOTEL has a special set for them.

 

  • Do not allow your pet to pee or poop in the bedroom or common areas. Be sure to walk him through the HOTEL gardens and always carry doggie bags that allow you to collect and properly dispose of its waste.

 

  • It is strictly forbidden to enter the hotel's restaurants or dining areas with your pet during meal service hours (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

 

  • The owners are solely responsible for any damage that their pet causes in the Hotel facilities, to their guests or clients. Consequently, it exempts the HOTEL from any responsibility for any damage or loss that may be caused to third parties and undertakes to hold the HOTEL harmless from any claim or litigation, judicial or extrajudicial action of any kind, that is brought or may be brought against the HOTEL, for any damage or injury that may be suffered or caused to third parties on the occasion of the possession of pets within the HOTEL PUNTA FARO.

 

  • Pets must comply with the health regulations required by law and carry a valid vaccination card.

 

  • If your pet maintains a behavior of high levels of permanent anxiety where its barking or crying becomes uncomfortable for other guests both in the common areas of the hotel and in the bedroom areas, then its stay in the hotel will be interrupted by management without legal responsibility for the establishment.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: At Punta Faro nor the archipelago  of San Bernardo exist any emergency services or veterinary care.
